IT Manager (infrastructure) - pasayAlfamart Trading Philippines Inc.

JOB PURPOSE
Manages and supports the entire Alfamart IT Infrastructure and Data center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MANAGING PROJECTS/PROGRAMS
● Prepares and defines the project scope of work, financial plan, goals, and deliverables.
● Assigns responsibilities.
● Identifies the resources' requirement
● Manages all aspects of the project business plan and budget.
● Leads the operational, financial and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans.
● Coordinates directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project - Directing, supervising, supporting and coordinating the project team members/staff.
● Manages the design of the project documents to monitor project performance and data stored.
● Resolves, traces and escalates critical issues to minimize project risk factors. Communicates intensively with clients, sub-contractors, and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationships.
● Reports project progress and communicates relevant information to superiors and company management.
● Performs the provisional acceptance and final acceptance procedures.
● Ensures that the financial issues are finalized.
● Coordinates the lesson-learned process.
● Make a follow up with clients to verify satisfaction.
● Ensures IT Infrastructure(Cloud and On-Premise) is up and running by 24x7
● Manage software and hardware vendors and coordinates with them for the Company's resource requirements.
● Ensures that all service contracts are current and available.
● Religiously monitors and periodically audits compliance to service level agreements of both internal(end-users/client)
● Prepares and analyzes monthly reports for IT Infrastructure and project status.
● Provides analysis of current systems and processes to ensure continuous systems and improvement this includes evaluation and recommendations of new systems or products that are applicable to data center operations.
● Creates and implements risk management and disaster recovery programs.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
● Oversees and supervises Data Center and IT Support group members.
● Trains, coaches and motivates the team to ensure their professional development and personal growth and at the same time ensure productivity
● Evaluates objectively branch team's performance following policies and procedures to be able to reward good performance, address deficiencies, and set performance targets to ensure job satisfaction and success on the job.
● Promotes fellowship among team members to achieve harmonious and productive working relations.
PLANNING AND ORGANIZING
● Oversees third party supplier SLA and evaluation
● Oversees all Data Center and IT Support (All Stores and Branches)
● Does monthly evaluation of Data Center
● Achieves committed SLA in the year-end
● Ensures that the following are net:
- Servers are up and running 24 x 7
- Telco's are up and running 24 x 7
- Data Centers UPS are up and running 24 x 7
- Data Center Air Condition is up and running 24 x 7
- Networking equipment is up and running 24 x 4
Job Skills and Qualifications
Experience
● At least 3 years experience in managing Data Center
● At least 3-5 years of experience in the same position
● Experienced in project management
● At least 5 years experienced Data Center Infrastructure
● Experienced implementing Data Center projects
Training/License/ Certification

Technical Skills
● Security, Systems & Network Administration experience.
● Datacenter Infrastructure installation and maintenance experience.

● Monitoring System
● Perimeter Defense (e.g. Firewalls, etc.)
● Professional Experience in installing and configuring 3rd party software to support other applications.
● Professional knowledge with Windows, Linux & Mac operating system.
● Experience in tuning and system configuration.
● Experience in Shell scripting in the corresponding OS, or knowledge in a universal
scripting language such as PERL, BASH & etc.
● Experience in Apache/Tomcat(Linux), IIS (Windows)
● Experience installing patches, patch bundles (service packs), updates, upgrades, version control.
● Experience in handling Virtual Machines
● Coordinate with IT, enhancement and business teams and develop strategies to
ensure achievement of data center capacity.
● Experience in BC/DR
