Act as the primary point of contact for Level 3 technical support, troubleshooting complex issues escalated from Level 1 and 2 support teams.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems effectively and efficiently.
Provide timely and accurate resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
2. Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data storage.
Proactively monitor system performance, security, and reliability, taking necessary actions to maintain high availability.
3. Project Leadership:
Lead and participate in IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines, ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets.
4. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce IT security protocols, safeguarding the organization's data and infrastructure against potential threats.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to data protection and privacy.
5. Vendor Management:
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement cutting-edge IT solutions.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
6. Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide training and support to Level 1 and 2 IT support teams to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the organization's IT capabilities.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in Level 3 IT support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing expert solutions.
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Proficiency in managing IT projects, from planning to execution, and driving successful outcomes.
Strong understanding of IT security protocols, data protection, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach to IT support.
Familiarity with vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.
