Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years in IT Asset Management
Knowledge of ITSM Framework
ITIL v3 or higher version certified
Project management experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply chain management or equivalent discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Effective for collaborating with teams and stakeholders
With strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining IT assets inventory records
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize resources
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand and mitigate risks of stock outs and overstocking
Plan and execute inventory control activities; ensure inventory records are accurate
Coordinate with the Procurement team to source, develop, and evaluate requirements; ensure stocks are available to meet customer demand
Oversee contract implementation and supplier performance/interaction
Develop, track, and report key functional metrics to measure inventory accuracy, turnover, and fill rate, enabling continuous improvement of inventory management processes
Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs; support other procurement activities as directed by management
Ensure assets are properly accounted for in all sites
Create and monitor PR for IT-related projects, IT assets, and IT services and their progress
Maintain up-to-date IT tools of trade, and IT standards for devices such as PCs, laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, Phones, tablets, Apple, and other technology devices.
Maintain the IT asset Master file for any asset movement covering the whole IT asset life cycle
Receive IT equipment delivered to the IT department, including logging received equipment, verifying their contents, ensuring they match purchase orders, storing it securely, conducting periodic inventories, and logging distribution.
Maintain a record IT asset spending
Track asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of by company policies and procedures and manage the movement of equipment between locations.
Initiate equipment repair and connect to manufacturers and monitor their status for repair and/or replacement.
Maintain and manage stockrooms, and submit order requests for IT equipment and PC accessories to maintain stockroom inventory levels Up To Date.
Conduct inventory and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset reports.
Responsible for enforcing all internal control processes and procedures related to IT asset Management
Work closely with multiple departments to support IT operations.
