Job Description
The IT Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing global financial tasks and budget reconciliation processes within the IT organization, liaising with Corporate Finance/Source to Pay as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare purchase requisitions for the creation of purchase orders on an as needed basis for IT staff
Perform goods receipt for software/hardware, vendor invoices and/or vendor timesheets for IT staff
Coordinate and ensure accuracy of monthly IT Capital forecast review in accordance with Finance's schedule of deliverables
Understanding of IT project portfolio and ensure accurate reporting across Grace systems and interfaces
Assist with creation and submission of IT Capital Authorization Requests
Manage IT labor capitalization processes for IT and work with Corporate Finance to create journal entries for IO reallocation.
Coordinate monthly telecommunications bill processing and ensure timely vendor payment
Assist with budget and expense inquiries from IT cost center/IO owners and provide investigation and corrective action as needed.
Manage overall IT expense reallocation charges to the business.
Oversee IT software license and contract compliance and ensure timely renewals.
Perform ad hoc research on POs, IOs, and/or GCAPs and initiate actions as needed.
Coordinate the creation and setup of new vendors in SAP
Job Specifications
Minimum of 3 years work experience
Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Knowledge of SAP Financial system and Ariba
Understanding of capital/expense criteria and project accounting.
Must be highly motivated with financial knowledge and exceptional analytical skills
Proactive, well-organized, and the ability to work in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, requiring little guidance or supervision
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results
