BASIC FUNCTION
The primary function of the position is to provide financial services to Corporate IT. Financial services include account reconciliations, inter-company billing, and recovery model maintenance and analysis. This position will also serve a back-up role to the Accounts Payable responsibilities that currently reside in Manila. Discovering new and improved processes to complete responsible tasks are critical to this positions success. Customer Service with timely responses to internal and external customers is essential. This position will be based in Manila and will report to the Sr. Financial / Asset Analyst also in Manila.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Detailed Reconciliations of "Designated Purchasing Entity" (DPE) Accounts / Cost Centers
• Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts (AP and GL)
• Preparation, submission, and booking of recovery journals related to IT Infrastructure at DPE locations
• Serve as back-up to Accounts Payable activities and processing of Intercompany invoices
• Support in the preparation of the Annual Budget and Annual Operating Plans at DPE locations
• Interdivision / intercompany billing and reconciliation Customer Statement creation and distribution
• Discover and communicate new processes to accomplish current Manila IT Finance tasks.
• Develop metrics around assigned tasks.
• Prepare ad hoc Reports as requested from the Director of Finance, Management Team and Service/Budget Center Owners
EDUCATION / LANGUAGE
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
• 3-5 years experience in corporate budgeting and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
• Results-Oriented and self-directed with a strong sense of urgency in meeting project goals and deadlines
• Team player with analytical skills and attentive to details
• Excellent in English (oral, written and inter-personal skills)
• Proficiency in Chinees or Spanish a plus
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Willing to work on a mid-shift and/or rotating shift
