Responsible for managing relationships with specific vendors and serving as the organization's point of contact.
Researches, analyzes and evaluates vendors and recommends new vendor purchases. Provides support to the organization for problems with vendor products and services.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. This role will report to the Director of Software, Risk, and Vendor Management of Production Services.
Evaluate customer requirements for products and vendors including controls in the environment. Supervise efficient procurement of all materials to maintain inventory and update all purchase orders.
Maintain and update knowledge on all purchasing and delivery of materials and associate current laws and regulations.
Assist product owners (owner team) with counts, reporting, and analysis of inventory levels.
Support financial team with PO processes and ensure vendor leases/purchases are correct tracked in support IT and Peoplesoft systems.
Qualifications
Must be graduate of Financial Management or Accounting courses
Highly organized
Familiarity with the procurement/vendor management process
1-2 years of experience
