The Sr. Manager for IT Field Support will direct the coordination of technical and administrative support activities in the APAC region including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedules personnel responding to critical situations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and oversee all PC systems and other support and project-based activity within the Asia Pacific region
Responsible for the implementation of all new business or IT field support initiatives
Act as Project Manager of applicable hardware and software projects
Providing technology consulting where needed to allow leverage of existing or new technologies to more efficiently run their businesses
Develop, monitor, track, and report critical requirements of metrics for the high volume of transactions Field Support manages
Acknowledge the urgency during critical times such as "system down status" or other urgent requests by prioritizing and ensuring all are addressed appropriately
Create project plans and deployment schedules for pertinent IT projects, planning, managing, and tracking all deployment schedules
Responsible for responding to information request, critical escalations, and major systems outages after business hours and during weekends as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 10 years related experience
5+ years supervisory or project/program management experience across multiple countries
5+ years Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) and Project Management Professional (PMP) working experience.
Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent work experience in lieu of; Advanced Degree desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and be able to develop and manage large projects and initiatives.
*Work setup will be hybrid and during onsite days, work location will be either in Northgate Alabang, Muntinlupa City or BGC, Taguig.
