The Role
As an Android Developer, you are responsible for writing high-quality and testable code following clean code principles.
How you'll contribute
Play a developer role
Implement functionality by following defined software development process without direct supervision
Read and understand project and requirement documentation
Create documentation describing his/her code
Participate in Agile Scrum activities: daily standup, demo session, retrospective, planning, etc.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors
Proficient in Java and Kotlin
Good knowledge of Android SDK
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
Knowledge of multi-threading
Solid understanding of Web Services, REST, SOAP, HTTP, and enterprise solutions
Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, e.g. GIT
Familiar with continuous integration
Comfortable working with plural teams, with diverse cultures in diverse locations
Good interpersonal skills, analytical mind, get things done attitude, and passion for engineering excellence
Able to analyze and evaluate engineering problems and find the best possible solution
In-depth understanding of different phases of software development lifecycle and understanding of Agile Scrum processes
Willingness and ability to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
Active learner who is passionate about technology and keeps up to date with innovations
Good communication skills
Able to communicate with senior executives
Experience in working with global customers in discussing technology solutions
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus
Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
Able to communicate with clients on a regular basis to clarify business requirements
