Overview
The Business Analyst role within IT will be focused on driving the operational effectiveness via metrics within the team. The resource will have a strong data and analysis background focused on:
Order Processing - submitting requests
Order Management - tracking workflow of requests
Budget Management - Power BI reporting
Proactive Problem Management - aligned with ITIL best practices
Data Audit's - in alignment with Security & Compliance initiatives
Operational KPI's
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Business Analytics Dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server, Power BI, Excel etc.
Analyze data sources and create comprehensive BI story.
Build compelling, interactive and actionable reporting on top of structured data models that helps in deriving meaningful business insights from large, complex datasets.
Supporting the full BI lifecycle from requirements analysis through design & development, and through release and support/maintenance phases
Gather requirements and design reports/custom tools
Some of the reports that will be required but not limited to this set are:
Daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for key performance indicators and provide analytics on them.
Gather, publish & maintain information related to historical, current and future performance.
Collaborate on identified ad hoc business problem-solving requests.
Train team members/ users on Power BI tool, dashboards and reports, as required.
Qualifications
Degree or certifications in data analysis
3+ years of combined experience in business, accounting, or finance.
Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization of Power BI Dashboards
Experience with data integration of Power BI
Experience with IT Support \ Operations
