Job Purpose:
The IT Auditor is responsible for the conduct and completion of IT audit projects.
Responsibilities:
Examines information processing facilities design for data integrity
Assesses and validates accuracy and conformity or compliance of information processing facilities and data to the organization's policies and standards
Evaluates and confirms that all transactions and activities on information systems are in compliance with corporate policies and standards
Examines, evaluates and recommends internal controls to ensure data/information accuracy
Prepares working papers
Prepares findings and recommendations for inclusion in the audit report
Collaborates with IT audit Manager on IT related reviews for information processing facilities
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the work area and ensures compliance to safety and security standards
Education and Experience
Graduate of BS Accountancy/BS Computer Science/ Information Technology
Preferably Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
2 - 4 years of IT/Information System audit experience
Participation in professional organizations (IIA, ISACA, etc.)
Proven ability to successfully perform audit testing with discretion and independent judgment
Knowledge of networking concepts, information security, and various computer platform
Ability to evaluate internal controls and risks on IT operations and infrastructure
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
