At present, EduCar is looking for an IT Assistant to be a part of its team.
JOB SUMMARY
The IT Assistant will be tasked to manage service provider billings and support ticket management. They may also be involved in helping others in all aspects of the IT department's work.
Processing service providers billings and ensuring that payments are on time to prevent service disruptions
Basic helpdesk management and assigning of support tickets to technicians.
Coordinating all support requests to IT staff to ensure issues are resolve in a timely manner
Providing basic IT assistance to staff and customers in case of manpower shortage
Working with internal teams to identify and implement new technologies
Escalate and coordinate level 1 Tier supports to vendors and service providers
Documenting processes and keeping for records
Consulting with IT manager and other departments as required
Other tasks as assigned by IT manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
IT Assistant/IT Support experience
Basic knowledge of computer peripherals
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, online and on premise
Basic knowledge in IT helpdesk software
Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Keen attention to details
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and teamwork
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
