Ensure effective management, compliance and control of IT software and hardware assets throughout their lifecycle by designing and implementing actionable strategies and maintaining accurate and holistic documentation that facilitates maximum return on investment and minimizes compliance risks.
What will your job look like?
-Performs various IT asset administration duties related to the organization's development projects and infrastructure.
-Administers systems for tracking IT asset life cycles, managing inventory and maintaining information on all development and infrastructure inventory, attributes and relationships.
-Manage the inventory related to approved third party software and tools used in the development process.
-Provides support to other IT processes (capacity, documentation, vendor, compliance & problem management) as well as education and communication of ITAM policy.
-Ensure all required information is documented into the ITAM repository and kept up-to-date, accurate, and auditable.
-Explore opportunities for utilizing unused\used hardware assets or software licenses to achieve full efficiency.
-Works with vendor management on contract management including documentation, asset maintenance renewals with related assets.
-Ensure proper retirement & disposal of assets, conduct inventory counts and reconciliation
-Perform data migration, training & implementation of asset management processes for mergers & acquisitions.
-Manage and control HW&SW in order to reduce non-compliance risk and reduce cost from over/under licensing.
-Understand contract/license terms and conditions, maintain SW portfolio, create SW compliance counters, monitor data source accuracy, create & provide compliance reports.

All you need is...
-2-5+ years' experience with ITAM best practice methodologies, managing inventories and utilizing asset management & discovery systems
-2-5+ years managing software & utilizing complex license management & compliance management systems
-2-3+ years' experience with advanced Excel features, SQL/Oracle database queries, analyzing complex tabular data reports preferred
-1-3+ years familiarity with computer, server, storage and network configuration and components preferred
-1-3+ Years' experience with IT procurement, IT finance, contract management and/or computer related field a plus
-IT, ITIL and/or ITAM related certifications through recognized organization such as IBSMA, SIIA, IAITAM, or BSA
