The Role
As an IT Asset Analyst, you are responsible for overseeing the receipt, disposition, tracking, refresh, and retirement of all IT assets for the duration of their current identified lifecycle. The individual will also reconcile all assets and is responsible for accurately maintaining the record in the Bank's Asset Management Repository. Lastly, assist in designing and establishing the processes relating to software and hardware asset management.
How you'll contribute
Collect IT assets, verify data, ensure ITAM procedures are properly done to the IT
asset. * Ensures the right utilization of the IT asset. They ensure that ITAM procedures are consistently applied to the IT asset throughout its lifecycle in the best interests of the IT asset owner.
Maintains current records of the Bank's IT assets, including but not limited to the deployment location, configuration, owner, location, usage, and other pertinent asset information based on submitted and approved forms. Evaluates the accuracy of asset information in the CMDB. Ensures the IT asset register contains valid data and assets are compliant.
Monitors and validates IT asset details and specifications against deployment records and physical inventory.
Coordinates with concerned units on the deployment, installation, and disposal requirements for proper monitoring of asset records.
Assist in the conduct of the refresh cycle of end-user computing equipment such as but not limited to laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, as per policy, including budgeting and forecasting for the refresh cycle and preparation of IT requests.
Assist the IT Asset Manager in performing an annual review on historical data of end-user computing equipment to provide recommendations on additional equipment for a refresh cycle.
Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's / College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field
1 - 4 years of experience
Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes, as well as experience with Discovery tool.
Good knowledge of the ITAM Process and practice.
Highly organized (research software, compliance with licensing rules)
Strategic thinking to optimize and plan software used for business operations
The ability to communicate effectively (verbally and by written correspondence) will all levels
of the organization. * Use initiate to learn new skills, enhance personal knowledge and improve communications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-directed
Preferably ITIL V4 and Managing Professional Certified
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is an advantage
