Description
PURPOSE
Analyze new requirements and improve existing processes by designing and creating new programs on top of the regular maintenance and operations of the IPTV System.
QUALIFICATIONS
>With Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Software, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
>With at least 5 years of experience in software and database maintenance, analyzing and writing codes
>Preferably with experience in broadcasting/ datacasting industry
>Knowledgeable in digital broadcasting via cable, satellite, IPTV/OTT
>With excellent communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
>Maintain the IPTV systems and databases by monitoring and correcting software defects and anomalies
>Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement
>Integrate existing software products and get incompatible platforms to work together
>Write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary, and communicate with programmers involved in the project
>Research, design, and write new software programs to improve processes and workflows
>Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, UX designers, other developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals, for the development and improvement of the IPTV platform
>Investigate new technologies and its applications
>Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications
