· Mid-Level iOS Developer / Software Engineer. FinTech start-up is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level iOS Developer. He/she will be a key member of the engineering team and will work collaboratively to evolve the existing architecture, improve operations and implement new features and functionality. The technical stack is Go, Python, React with microservices architecture and CI/CD.
· This Mid-Level iOS Developer role presents an excellent opportunity to join a well backed start-up that is currently operating in stealth mode with planned launch within the next few months. Excellent career progression as the company grows and you build a team around you. Offices based in a trendy tech area of London with lots going on.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
· Designing and building mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform.
· Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
· Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications.
· Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
· Fixing application bugs before final release.
· Publishing application on App Store.
· Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
· Designing and implementing application updates.
Requirements
· At least 5 years of experience with SW dev and 3 years with IOS
· Very strong knowledge of iOS platform and experience developing consumer-facing applications
· Strong software engineering background with recent iOS app development
· Strong Swift Knowledge (Swift, Swift 5),
· Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
· Experience with secure, reliable services
· Good knowledge of Computer Science principles
· Strong problem solving skills
· Collaborative team member, keen to work in a start-up environment with lots of ownership.
· Experience with large e-commerce web sites is desirable.
· Source code control understanding (experience with Git preferred)
· Nice to have experience in CI/CD for mobile, Alamofire, Maps, ChatBox, RxSwift, MVVM, SDKs, CoreData, Dependency Injection, DeepLinking, Cocoapods, Carthage, Package Manager and XCTest
· Portfolio of apps developed must be provided
TRAINING/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Native iOS Applications, Swift, Objective C, MVVM, Third Party frameworks like Alamofire, Maps, Social Login, Consumer-facing Apps, Unit Tests, Core SDK like UIKit Framework, Security Framework, Algorithms, Problem Solving, Push Notifications.
