The Investor Relations works directly with the Founder and Executive Chairman to liaise and manage Edukasyon's pool of investors, aids the Founder in fundraising and provides strategic and operational support to the Founder. The responsibilities include:
Investor Relations
Create streamlined communication between the Founder, Management Committee and the pool of investors
Oversee all investor requests, responding to each in a timely manner
Create regular documents such as monthly financial and annual impact reports.
Ensure that investor information remains confidential and meets all applicable requirements
Analyze internal and external data and stay current with changing regulations
Gathers information and puts it together for investors, upon request, including organizational newsletters, investor presentations, and investor meetings
Oversee, organize and manage regular meetings with the board of directors
Ensure capture of minutes and timely cadence of information to the board of directors
Fundraising
Prepare documents, financial models, reports and presentations as needed throughout the course of fundraising
Liaise with legal counsel to ensure proper legal documentation and processes are met throughout the course of fundraising
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis as needed in fundraising
Business Development
Prepare documents, financial models, reports and presentations as needed throughout the course of business development
Craft and present partnership packages and opportunities with different clients
Secure logistics for client pitches, meetings and presentations
Strategic Support
Provide strategic advice to the Founder to improve fundraising efforts
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research as needed by the Founder
Create analyses, insight reports and presentations as needed by the Founder
Assist the Founder in meetings and presentations for business development and/or transformational initiatives
Operational Support
Plan and direct all administrative and operational activities for the Founder
Act as a point of contact between the Founder and top management.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management or any related field
2 or more years' experience in investment banking, consulting or management
Preferred competencies
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Reliability and discretion (you will often handle confidential matters)
Adaptability and ability to think fast on your feet
Ability to create effective presentations and accurate financial models
Proficiency in MS Office
