Originally founded in 2006 as a joint venture with Ayala Group of the Philippines, ARCH Capital is a Hong Kong-based and independently owned real estate private equity investment platform with a well- established track record investing in the opportunistic, value add and core/core plus strategies across major markets in Asia Pacific by capitalizing on its extensive network of industry contacts to source proprietary, off-market investments. Its portfolio of assets is diversified across residential for sale and for lease, office, retail and mixed-use. Our core strength is in identifying and unlocking values in properties through active and direct asset management within a fully integrated in-house team and local knowledge in each market that we operate in.
We are currently growing our real estate portfolio and looking to hire an Investment & Asset Management Analyst in our Manila office. The Analyst will divide their time by: (a) Existing Philippine-based deals [70%]; (b) Business Development [20%]; and (c) ESG/Sustainability Initiatives (10%)
?Evaluation, underwriting, and execution of a wide array of real estate investments in the Philippines and other SE Asian countries where ARCH operates
?Assess potential investments by building and manipulating complex financial models in Microsoft Excel and company/industry research
?Preparation and presentation of potential investments to the Investment Committee
?Working with operating partners to be a key contributor in the planning and completion of due diligence
?Prepare investment committee materials and other transaction documents
?Monitor and assist in the management of existing portfolio companies
?Conduct exploratory market research and perform analytics on potential investment opportunities and themes
?Contribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude
?Strategic asset management and eventual disposition of assets
?Collaboration within the team and with external counterparties within the finance, banking, and real estate industries
?Bachelor's degree in a STEM, finance, economics, or business related field from a top tier university
?Must be Top 20% of the class
?1-3 years of experience investment banking and/or private transactions experience (real estate experience not a must); Experience either through employment and/or internships
?Ability to communicate complex, abstract and/or difficult messages in simple, clear manner
?Strong understanding of core finance and investment concepts
?Genuine interest in the real estate industry and desire to learn
?Basic understanding of real estate terminology and formulas to correctly relate variables w/ limited information; or at least desire to learn
?Strong financial modelling, research, presentation, and writing skills; or desire to learn
?Highly organized
?Ability to prioritize and work independently
