Business Need/Purpose of role
The Inventory Planner manages global demand for multiple product families through the recommendation and implementation of replenishment strategies and turning of stock plan per product life cycle and business objectives.
The role is based in Pasig City, Manila, and is available to hybrid and remote working in the region.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to:
Planning: Formulate supply chain process to deliver supply to the customer at required service level while optimizing inventory through the network; monitor KPI metrics and take corrective action based on trends; maintain critical inventory parameters including classification and stock setting; plan new product launch and phase out old product with minimal E&O liability; liaise with product family representatives to support execution of forecast, potential promos, life cycle planning, EOL and rollover planning; monitor supply chain critical links including LT plan vs. actual, factory capacity, geo-political impacts, etc.
Execution: Implement safety stock and forecast changes based on sufficient trend and exception demand planning; perform expedites and item set-up for organizations within the network; coordinate supply for capital build projects; execute sludge/E&O process to support optimized flow; create/update network setting, sourcing, re-sourcing, and perform make-to-buy activity as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps causing repeat offenses in metrics misses; lead projects to improve process breakdowns and efficiencies; analyze inventories to determine how to reduce DSI, excess or optimize service level; support other organization's CI projects as needed.
About you:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
Two+ years' supply chain planning experience including some supply chain analysis
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP software
Willing and able to travel up to 5% domestically and 5% internal as needed
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background checks (pre-employment medical).
