Description
1. Checks the records of receipts, issuances, stock transfer slips of materials, spare parts, materials and supplies, and other inventories in the storeroom are recorded and accounted in the system during the prescribed period. This is a documentation check vs. system.
2. Ensures that all the issuances are properly charged to the respective departments. Receives withdrawal slips from end user, checks stock on hand availability; Inputs withdrawals in the system endorse to Stores for issuance.
3. Ensures that there are no duplicate item numbers by conducting regular database checking in the system. Propose adjustments to top management to resolve when duplicate item numbers are seen.
4. If there are variances between actual stocks on hand vs. system reconcile, analyze and investigate negative and overage inventory balances, recommend resolution to top management and prepare adjustment if necessary.
5. Prepares monthly report of inventory movements: fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving classified items. Beginning Inventory, Issuances, Receipts, Ending Inventory. Reports special project issuances summary per month.
6. Ensures that the approved inventory stock level is maintained by checking stock-on-hand vs. reorder levels. Prepares weekly report to management to inform of inventory levels of critical items.
7. Assists in the annual physical vs. system 100% inventory count.
8. Performs weekly random inventory, checking of issuances with returned items and items subject for maintenance repairs.
