To safeguard the most important asset of the retail industry by monitoring, updating, analyzing, and developing improved internal control over its inventory. To ensure that the assigned store's inventory is accurately recorded and accounted for by conducting annual/semi-annual/spot physical inventory and reporting any deviances/variances correspondingly.
Key Results Areas
1. Conducts Annual/Semi-Annual/Spot Audit physical inventory of stores and warehouse
· Company-owned stores
· QII stores and other HO store codes
· Franchise
2. Reports inventory variances, losses, non-compliance memorandum, and necessary templates and policies and procedures for effective inventory handling and management to Audit Manager and Department Heads
3. Prepares variance report based on an actual physical inventory conducted, egress, and other selling events
4. Analyzes variances based on the store's justifications
5. Recommend necessary adjustments in RPRO/NAV System after careful analysis to Senior Supervisor
6. Monitors pending RPRO Trans verification and NAV TO/PO/SO, delivery discrepancies
7. Resolves transfer/delivery discrepancies on the assigned store.
8. Issues memorandum to stores on non-compliance to standard operating procedures governing inventories and audit findings
9. Resolves and coordinates effective inventory controls and updates
10. Checks and analyzes stores' requests for quantity adjustments
Required Qualifications
a. Education
Bachelor's Degree in any business-related courses
b. Experience
Minimum of three years of experience in the supervisory level on the inventory-related job
· Working knowledge:
a. Computer Literacy (MS Windows Applications-Excel (proficient in functions & formulas), Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
b. Mathematical skills
2. General knowledge:
a. Can work well with other team members and can work under pressure
b. Can communicate well
c. Ability to build and develop a strong team
d. Good listening and thinking ability
3. Thorough knowledge:
a. Well-rounded working experience in the retail industry that involves effective management of inventory
