SUMMARY OF ROLE
Take the lead on Inventory accounting related activities- month-end close preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliation, management & financial reports and SOX requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs financial close and conforms with internal and external audit requirements which includes the following:
Consolidation of Inventory major reports - BS & P&L cycle review deck, LE and Corp requirements
Focal person on Reserves process
Performs major Inventory account analysis and reconciliations - FG and capitalization
Prepares Journal Entries - Reserves, other Consignments, BS carve out
Reviewer for journal entries prepared by junior accountants - PO accrual, Inventory adjustments
Owns major quarterly PBC and TOC requirements- Inventory Lead sheets and Reserves
Support other management reports and adhoc analysis/requests
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Educational: Bachelor's or College Degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA
Experience: With minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Inventory/Cost Accounting experience
Skills and Competencies: Good in oral and written communication skills, leading a team
Can deal with foreign nationality stakeholders
IT Tools: high proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
Oracle knowledge is a plus
OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)
Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region
