The Internal Communications Manager is expected to ensure all Ninja Van employees are well informed of company-wide announcements and are motivated to carry out individual responsibilities.
The Internal Communications Manager is also responsible for all communications relayed through Ninja Van Philippines' internal communication channels (including Slack, Email, and all upcoming
relevant channels), as well as building relationships with relevant stakeholders.
The Internal Communications Manager will play a vital role in all employee engagement activities through spearheading effective strategies. The Internal Communications Manager will also work with the External Communications team and HR team prior to handling the internal communication response to crisis situations that have the potential of affecting organisational reputation.
Responsibilities:
Develop an internal communications strategy in conjunction with Communications, HR, Operations, regional counterparts and top management.
Regularly review the effectiveness of existing communication channels and increase its effectiveness in engaging internal stakeholders.
Communicate organisational initiatives and projects to all employees including top management.
In-charge of end-to-end content production for all internal communications channels.
Use internal communications channels to communicate with staff.
Produce key messages and materials for top management to present to employees in written or spoken form.
Ensure consistent communications messages across the organisation.
Work closely with the external communications team to ensure that internal messages and external communication messages are consistent.
Respond to feedback from employees gathered from site visits and internal communication channels, in coordination with relevant units such as Human Resources and Operations, and develop communications content as needed.
Handle the internal communication response to all crisis situations.
Stay on top of policy and regulatory developments relevant to the company and its employees, and when necessary - develop corresponding communications strategies.
Conduct regular site visits to maintain relationships with the Operations team.
Maintaining a system of measurement to track effectiveness of initiatives and activities.
Qualifications:
Candidates much have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any related field with a proven track record of success.
With at least 5-7 years of a progressive communications career working on similar service or tech companies; HR professionals or those with experience in employee communications will also be considered.
Ability to operate independently, from strategy to execution.
Demonstrated experience in working with remote and/or blue-collar stakeholders would be a plus.
Knowledgeable in stakeholder mapping - being able to map out relevant stakeholders when preparing actions plans on employee engagement.
Has proven experience in managing internal crisis situations and handling corporate communication channels.
Has passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Creative and willing to work with limited resources.
Adept and resourceful multitasker with the ability to quickly prioritize tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication and a creative thinker.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and a good comfort level using enterprise software
