- Reporting on risk management issues
- Providing continued education and advice to different business units and teams regarding compliance and risk assessment
- Anticipating emerging issues through data and assessment
- Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
- Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
- Works with a team to achieve company goals
- May work extra hours during busy audit seasons or to meet certain milestones
- Makes recommendations for the best ways for a company to avoid fraud and reduce waste
- Assesses best financial practices for an organization and makes relevant, informed suggestions
- Keeps up-to-date on audit procedures and regulations by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education seminars
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the management
