Responsibilities:
Evaluates the reliability and integrity of information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information;
Evaluates the systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that could have a significant impact on the organization;
Evaluates the means of safeguarding assets and, as appropriate, verifies the existence of such assets;
Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency with which resources are employed;
Evaluates operations or programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives and goals and whether the operations or programs are being carried out as planned;
Monitors and evaluates the governance processes;
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the organization's risk management processes;
Performs consulting and advisory services related to governance, risk management and control as appropriate for the organization;
Reports significant risk exposures and control issues, including fraud risks, governance issues, and other matters needed or requested by the Board;
Evaluates specific operations at the request of the Board or management, as appropriate; and
If requested, participates in the regional audit as part of the knowledge and exchange function within the Holcim Group.
Requirements:
Must be a college graduate, preferably with a degree in Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or other related fields
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of operational experience in the chosen field (Engineering, Information Technology, Accounting, Auditing)
Preferably with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience
Must have experience auditing in the manufacturing industry
Having a solid business, IT, and process skills is an advantage
Preferably with general knowledge about Safety, Regulatory, Legal and Economics, Ethics and Fraud, and Risk-Based Audit
Preferably with knowledge on the SAP Systems
