INTERNAL AUDITOR
The position is responsible for the implementation of the approved audit plan through a logical and systematic method of identifying, analyzing, assessing, treating, monitoring and communicating risks associated with any activity, functions or procedures that are embedded within the organization's business process in such a way that will enable the company to minimize losses and maximize opportunities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Internal Audit Delivery
a. Pre-Audit
b. Audit Engagement
c. Operations Audit
2. Audit Engagements Documentation and Presentation
3. Audit Follow Through
4. Process Improvement and/or Innovation
DESCRIPTION OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Internal Audit Delivery
· Performs pre-audit on assigned business unit.
· Performs audit engagements based on the International Standards on the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the established audit policies and procedures of the company.
· Conducts operations audit based on the results of risk assessments performed by the Risk Assessor.
· Performs other audit engagements, including but not limited to the following:
§ Financial Audit
§ Compliance Audit
§ Inventory Audit
§ Cash Count Audit
2. Audit Engagement Documentation and Presentation
· Prepares and present audit reports based on the results of the engagement.
3. Audit Engagement Follow Through
· Conducts follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions on audit findings and recommendations.
· Monitors status of audit issues until the action plan is adequately implemented.
4. Process Improvement and/or Innovation
· Reviews policies and procedures prior to implementation.
· Engages to continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best
practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
5. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Business Course such as Internal Auditing, Accounting or Finance, a Certified Public Accountant Licensure is an advantage
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Generally, up to one (1) year experience in a similar or related role.
