Job Description
Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved.
Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability.
Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement.
Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations.
Reporting on risk management issues and anticipating emerging issues through data and assessment.
Develop internal audit scope and audit plans
Acquire, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process
Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
Identify loopholes and share risk aversion methods and cost savings
Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
Conduct follow up audits
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field
Preferred Certified Public Accountant
Meticulous attention to detail
Organization and time-keeping
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
The ability to think objectively
Self-motivation, determination, and confidence
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong IT skills
Excellent interpersonal, coordination and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills
