INTERNAL AUDITORWACK WACK GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist the Audit Commitee Chairman in developing and executing the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club's audit plan.
Take a lead role in the day to day execution of internal audit.
Contribute to the Internal Audit (IA) function by identifying risks associated with the Club's objectives and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and the Club's processes.
Provide value-added advice and support to business to the Club on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, processes, or services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control and that compliance is maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for performing, planning, execution of financial, operational, and systems audits, including but not limited to special projects based on the approved audit plan.
Examination and assessment on the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance to with approved policies and procedures and identified potential risks.
Prepares reportorial requirements for submission to the Audit Committee Chairman.
Responsible for reviewing and evaluating the Club's operations, assessing the effectiveness and adequacy of all internal controls of management.
Actively develops technical skills on the job and through formal training.
Effectively documents work.
Identifies and communicates engagement issues as well as engagement progress in a timely and organized manner.
Keeps abreast of the Club's policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing profession.
Communicate the results of audits and reviews via written reports and oral presentations to management.
Develop a deep understanding of the Club's strategy, policies, processes, risks and controls.
KNOWLEDGE:
A recognized professional designation in Accounting or Internal Auditing (CPA/ CIA).
Thorough understanding of risk and control concepts.
Familiarity with accounting and auditing principles, procedures, and systems.
Knowledge to create internal audit report draft and discusses with the right management level.
Has working knowledge in finance and accounting policies and procedures, and financial services.
Working knowledge of professional performance standards with regarding to planning, testing, sampling and documentation.
Thorough understanding of risk and control concepts and ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management.
ABILITIES:
Ability to report results of an audit to the Audit Committee by preparing audit work papers and evidence.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within the time constraints and deadlines.
Strong ability to comprehend and interpret various instructions presented in the different forms, including oral, written, and diagram.
Ability to challenge constructively and persuasively.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 5 years experience are required for this position.
