Job Description:
Audit Planning Phase
Provides inputs to the Internal Audit Plan/Program, including operational, financial and compliance audit projects across Megawide, Affiliates, and Subsidiaries.
Assists in the identification and evaluation of the organization's audit risk areas and provides significant input to the development of a risk-based agile internal audit plan.
Present for review of the Internal Audit Manager.
Audit Engagement Phase
Performs Internal Audit Engagements and other audit activities. Communicates the Results of the engagements (Audit Reports) to process owners and Audit Manager.
Plans and organizes specific audit engagement for review and approval of Audit Manager.
Performs audit procedures including documenting client processes, conducts interviews, reviews documents, analysis, administer surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.
Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations for improvement using the applicable/identified criteria and/or independent professional judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to Audit Management.
Monitoring and Follow-up
Responsible in monitoring the disposition of audit results/recommendations per audit engagement communicated to process owners to ensure agreed actions have been effectively implemented or that management has accepted the risk of not taking actions.
Conducts post-audit procedures to validate actions taken by process owners to address audit observations based on evidence gathered.
Communicates the result thru Quarterly Report on Monitoring of Resolution of Audit Issues to the Audit Manager.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's/College degree from a reputable college or university in Accountancy or Internal Audit.
License Requirement (if any): Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a plus.
At least 5 years of full-time experience in internal auditing, risk management, external auditing, operations, accounting, business process analysis or evaluation.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory level.
Above average communication (oral and written) skills.
Willing to work in San Juan City.
