Job Summary:
The Internal Audit Supervisor is responsible for supporting Management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors in providing valuable recommendations geared toward strengthening the company's internal control. Specifically, the Internal Audit Supervisor assists the Internal Audit Team Head in overseeing audits and risk management, performing
operational audits, and developing audit programs.
The Internal Audit Supervisor also oversees the activities of a team of auditors who identify risks; evaluates performance; productivity; prepares audit reports and recommend improvements to the performance, integrity, and compliance of one or more of organization's financial, operational, processes and systems.
Job Minimum Requirements
Education: College graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Business Administration or a closely related field.
Certification as a CPA is required. CIA or other Internal Audit certification is preferred.
Years of Related Experience: With at least 5-6 years of related experience in the conduct of Financial, IT, Risk Management, Fraud and Detection, Process and/or Operation audits.
Additional Requirement/s  Knowledge of internal auditing standards, practices and techniques
Knowledge of accounting and business standards, principles and practices
Knowledge in risk identification and risk assessment
Knowledge in control identification and evaluation
Able to analyze financial and operational information
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
Able to think analytically
Capable of writing reports and maintaining organized documentation
Present audit and/or special project results
Excellent communication skills and desire to help others
Strong planning, organization and multi-tasking skills
Must be flexible, proactive, highly organized, detail
