The role of the Internal Audit Supervisor is to plan, supervise and oversee the various audit activities being carried out by assigned Auditors. The Internal Audit Supervisor identifies and evaluates risks associated with the company's processes and prepares audit plans, including audit programs and budgets. Also, the Internal Audit Supervisor performs detailed reviews of the working papers and drafts the internal audit report.
The Internal Audit Supervisor ensures that duties are performed efficiently and professionally and in accordance with the Internal Audit Manual and the IIA Standards. He also performs ad hoc duties as and when requested by the CAE of GERI.
Functions:
Actively involved with the overall execution and completion of one or more audit engagements, while building relationships with team members and clients.
Review the work of Audit Associate and provide on-the-job training and feedback to your engagement team members.
Represent Internal Audit on organizational project exams and at management meetings.
Require less supervisory oversight to complete quality and timely work
Exhibit leadership ability as a senior member of an audit team.
