FPD is a food processing company primarily engaged in the manufacture of the globally renowned 7D brand of dried mangoes and other fruit products.
We are looking for a:
INTERNAL AUDIT STAFF
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the Head Office Auditor in the preparation, organization, and filing of audit papers pertinent to the review of relevant transactions including but not limited to payables, payroll, sales, and inventory reports.
Assists in conducting regular inventory count of finished goods inventories and other inventories
Assists in reviewing internal audit procedures, policies, and controls and evaluates the same based on its effectiveness and efficiency.
Assists in developing new or improved internal audit procedures, policies, and controls.
Assists in conducting regular financial and operational audits at the Head Office and other work sites.
Assists in checking compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assists in identifying discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial records and recommends corrective actions.
Assists in the preparation of audit reports and in the presentation of audit findings and recommendations to management.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date audit files and records.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in any 4-year course
Prior audit experience is not required but an advantage
Willing to undergo audit-related trainings and is able to learn and adapt quickly
Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills
Can work under pressure and can meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communications skills
Familiar with MS Office applications such as MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Can easily adapt to an organizational culture with systems and procedures
Willing to be assigned primarily at the head office in Mandaue City, Cebu but may occasionally be required to visit other offices for special audits

Normal working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
