Internal Audit Associate is responsible for the execution of a full audit cycle of overall financial, operational, compliance, information technology (IT) & Risk Management (RM) audit by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes in order to add value and improve Tagum Cooperative operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of a Bachelor's College degree in Accountancy, BS in Management Accounting, BS in Internal Audit, BS in Accounting Information Systems
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Accountant (CA); Certified Professional Accountant (CPA); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
· Preferably have undergone trainings relevant to the position such as audit techniques (work programs, tests, sampling, documentation, reports), risk assessment, and taxation
· Intermediate knowledge in RA 9520 and other rules & regulations affecting Philippine cooperatives
· Intermediate knowledge in accounting standards procedures, & practices affecting cooperatives
· Advanced knowledge on the accounting and operating system of Tagum Cooperative.
· Advanced knowledge in auditing standards affecting cooperatives operating in a computerized environment
· Advanced knowledge in interview techniques, fraud investigations, etc.
· Advanced understanding of internal control weaknesses affecting a cooperative with savings & credit operations, insurance, funecare, and other allied services.
