JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports directly to Internal Audit Manager.
Conduct internal audit engagements to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal audit controls and procedures; identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.
Ensures that audit procedures performed are in conformance with established work programs, or in its absence, on agreed-upon procedures.
Prepares audit reports and presentations including recommendations for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Attainment
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Audit/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Work Experience
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, Internal and External Audit. CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CICA certifications desired but not required.
· Possess strong understanding in international audit standards (from IIA, IIC, ISACA, etc.) and principles, as well as GAAP.
· Knowledge in planning and performing duties on risk-assessed basis and good understanding of both business process and IT application and general controls.
Competencies
· Strong level of integrity, analytical, and report writing skills.
· Knowledge and understanding of the internal audit process including risk assessments, controls testing, reporting and continuous auditing.
· Knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IIC and IIA standards, SOC, SOX, ITGC, COSO, DPA 2012, ISMS and BCMS.
· Knowledge and understanding in NetSuite application.
· Proficiency in Excel/Spreadsheet, flowcharting and data analysis.
