1. Compliance Audit
Prepare an engagement letter about the audit to be conducted.
Audit compliance to approved existing process, company policies and procedures; as well as compliance to external laws and government regulations.
Prepare initial report of result of audit conducted and discuss it with the supervisor.
Perform exit audit conference with concerned business unit and obtain response and action plan concerning audit findings raised.
Prepare audit report containing audit findings as well as action plans committed by concerned business unit.
Endorsed to other audit unit any transaction noted that would require depth audit such as investigative or financial audit.
2. Process Audit
Perform process review and risk assessment to evaluate adequacy of internal control on existing process; policies and procedures.
Provide relevant analyses and recommendations to strengthen internal control and risk management.
Discuss with the audit supervisor the result of audit as well as risks noted and the appropriate recommendations
Perform exit audit conference with concerned department to discuss result of audit findings and to obtain action plan.
Prepare report of the result of audit for reporting to CEO or Board.
Endorsed to appropriate audit unit any audit that would require substantive audit such as financial, investigative audit.
3. Follow up Audit
Develop schedule for follow up of previously conducted audit to check for the implementation of action plans. This should be done not later than 3 months after the audit engagement.
