Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration/Studies/Management or Engineering (preferably Industrial, Mechanical, or Mining)
At least four (4) years of full time experience either in auditing, accounting, or business analysis, including two (2) years of managerial experience.
Must be a Certified Internal Auditor and preferably a Certified Public Accountant or Licensed Engineer
Must be willing to work at the mine site in Padcal, Tuba, Benguet
Functional Competencies/Skills:
Considerable knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (ISPPIA) and the Code of Ethics developed by The Institute of Internal Auditor
Extensive knowledge of and skills in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles.
Knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, and practices.
Knowledge of mining company policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
Ability to conduct quality control reviews of audit works.
Ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems and draw logical conclusions.
Extensive skills in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
Ability to negotiate issues and resolve problems.
Considerable skills in computer applications to prepare reports, memos, summaries and analyses.
Competent skills in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening and skills in presenting findings and recommendations.
Considerable ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers and to work effectively in a professional team environment.
Job Summary:
Work involves advanced level professional internal auditing functions such as managing and conducting performance, financial, and compliance audit projects; providing consulting services to the management and staff; providing inputs to the development of the annual audit plan; training, coaching and supervising the internal audit staff. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently under general direction with competent latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
