Job Title: Internal Accountant
Reports To: Chief Finance/Admin Manager
Job Level Required: Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, accounting, finance, or related business discipline, preferably CPA. Atleast 2-3 years of experience as Internal Accountant
Office Location: Cogon Ramos, Cebu City, Cebu (near Horizon 101)
Salary & Benefits:
● 25,000 monthly or more, commensurate with experience and qualifications
● 15 Paid Vacation Days - Received in First Year - Accrued
Job Description:
The company is seeking an experienced Internal Accountant to join our finance team.The Internal Accountant will be responsible for managing the financials of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to the management team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting process area.
● Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar.
● Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
● Monitors, reviews, and resolves intercompany receivables and payables.
● Performs journal entries, prepares accrual for recurring transactions, and ensures timely expense recognition.
● Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for the company.
● Identifies process improvement opportunities and implements the project.
● Supports process streamlining and process improvements initiatives.
● Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, accounting, finance, or related business discipline, preferably CPA.
● Atleast 2-3 years of experience as Internal Accountant
● Experienced with major ERP Systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.); SAP preferred
● Attention to detail is imperative
● The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
● The ability to think objectively
