Job Description
The Data Analytics team plays a critical role in conducting close-loop data-driven business iterations. As data analysts, our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also in proactively finding actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes. Our end-to-end data solution reduces the gap between the business teams and technical teams, and achieves real 'intelligence' in the iteration cycle.
Gather business requirements from different functional teams and translate them into suitable data requirements
Ensure adequacy and accuracy of critical reports and dashboards
Proactively engage with stakeholders and product teams to ensure that all data is up to date according to the latest feature developments
Able to think on your feet to troubleshoot business issues or investigate irregularities due to business developments
Coordinate and work with data engineers to optimize the data flow from raw data into data marts
Conduct data analysis on business issues under tight deadlines
Work with big data and small data, and ensure data pipeline integrity together with our data engineers
Design, automate and maintain critical reports for business needs
Qualifications
Highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, and hands-on experience with large amounts of data using MongoDB, SQL, and Python
Outstanding in interpersonal communications
Strong analytical skills with work experience on data-driven analysis under pressure
Able to make analytical recommendations and provide business insights to the senior management
Ability to work across the organization, and with other organizations including other companies, nonprofits, government, etc
Extreme amount of patience
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field
Experience in using Pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy, SciPy, PyTorch, Scikit Learn, SeaBorn, R
Knowledge of Kubernetes and MERN
Experience in healthcare, health tech or the internet industry
