Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily entry of key financial transactions data into Xero
Month end close - processing of general journals, accruals, standing journals and general ledger adjustments (Xero).
Completion of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and board reports for a variety of entities to provide relevant and timely financial information to management and the Board including, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
Assistance with preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS Returns.
Perform bank reconciliations
Managing the Accounts Payable function
Managing the Accounts Receivable function
Assistance in project managing the maintenance of fixed asset registers in accordance with the appropriate accounting policies.
Ongoing assistance with managing the Group CRM database
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 1-3 years' work bookkeeping experience
Must have extensive knowledge in Australian Bookkeeping
Experience with AU Taxation (GST)
Experience with Xero is a must
Excellent written and spoken English
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Use of the following software: Xero Accounting, Xero Practice Manager
