Job Description
We are looking for creative, innovative, and detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be designing aesthetically-pleasing workspaces and living spaces that are efficient, functional, safe for employees, and should reflect Weremote’s branding identity and vision
The Interior designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans, sourcing products, and materials, determining costs, and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met all within the set budget. The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualize and sketch interior design plans and shop drawings
Conceptualize efficient and economical floor plan designs
Undertake design project from concept to completion
Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
Set and monitor costs and project fees according to budget
Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
Source product vendors that meet budgets and our brand standards
Produce “sample” and “mood products”
Supervise work progress and work with contractors and suppliers to insure design intent is maintained until project location completed and FF&E has been installed
Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
Utilize computer applications in the design process.
Inspect design after completion to determine to make sure designs have been followed.
Conduct on-site visits and provide recommendations for all projects
Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.
Present a Portfolio of design work.
Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic. Thinks outside of the box.
Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.
2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in Space Planning and Office Designs
