About the job
IKEA for Business is the B2B arm of IKEA Retail, offering our unique range and concept to professional customers within office furnishing, residential developments, retail establishments, hotels, and other market segments.
In your role as Interior Designer, IKEA Philippines, you will be tasked to support the sales function by providing locally-relevant interior decoration proposals for business customers, with the aim to maximize sales by offering attractive and comprehensive interior design solutions, which feature IKEA's range and profile.
Your assignment
· You support the IKEA for Business sales functions, review and clarify design requests from business customers and prepare the briefs for processing by Central Design in Malaysia;
· You support the Sales Manager in preparing and conducting presentations to larger customers;
· You ensure that the company's competitive advantage within Sustainability is incorporated into the general design proposals, in support of the overall image of IKEA for Business;
· You provide input and ideas to central design function in Malaysia, to ensure that the standardized proposals are developed to meet the general expectations of business customers in Philippines;
· You review and amend centrally produced interior design proposals to ensure that the solutions matches the expectations of the business customers.
Qualifications
Your profile
· You have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably gained from the home furnishing industry;
· You are knowledgeable of real estate trends that influence home furnishing and retailing in the Philippines;
· You are have a strong conceptual and creative understanding of the IKEA range, with ability to combine products into coherent offers, and communicate the IKEA concept to business customers
· You have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with others in various situations;
· You are flexible and hands-on, with keen eye for details.
· You have a strong sense of customer service.

This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements.
Temporary work location will be at the 17th Floor, No. 8 Rockwell Building, Hidalgo Drive, Makati City, Philippines.
