About The Client
Our client is an interior architecture design studio based in Sydney. The company has been in business for over 20 years with a primary presence in the USA. They specialize in designing creative strategies for property developers in both the USA and Australia. They are boutique in size but operate in large capacity managing over $700M worth of real-estate value.
About The Position
We need someone with at least 5 years experience working on interior design drawings for high end residential who can think with a design mind and see with a design eye to understand how the various elements in a space play together to foresee possible conflicts.
You will be working remotely with a fun team of creatives in very exciting projects from many different parts of the world. You will be able to see the process unfold from beginning to end.
Daily, you will report and work directly with the team leader, and you will assist other in-house drafts people.
The organization has a weekly meeting on Monday and Friday. On Monday, they check all the duties the team must complete through a TO-DO list. On Friday, they make sure everything was completed and no stone was left unturned.
The drafting team works closely together, helping each other throughout the day making sure everyone's questions are answered so the most urgent deadlines are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create a documentation package from a Sketchup file.
Draft from tender to full interior documentation packages, preferably in Australian standard
Document joinery, interior elevations, sections, and details in both AutoCAD and ArchiCAD.
Create presentation documents in Photoshop and InDesign.
Manage FF&E and Finishes schedules in Excel.
Required Skills & Experience
Advanced level in ArchiCAD
Advanced level in AutoCAD
Proficient level in SketchUp
Proficient level in Enscape
Knowledge in Revit is a plus
Fluent level in English both written and verbal.
At least 5 years' experience producing coordination packages with interior joinery, internal elevations, sections, and details.
Extensive understanding of joinery construction and documentation.
