The Role
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic insurance professional to build and expand relationships with the Philippines insurance sector. The individual we are looking for is motivated by launching and scaling new business ventures as a true owner. This is someone who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves to quickly determine the potential around different opportunities, and then working with internal and external partners to build the highest potential opportunities into scaled new business lines. This individual thrives on working with multiple stakeholders across an organization, sourcing and building partnerships, and solving highly analytical and operational problems.
What you'll do
Initiate and prove new venture opportunities in support of our core business lead initiatives end to end, partnering with internal stakeholders and external partners
Develop business cases to inform leadership of the opportunity, rationale, and operational plan to scale prioritized ventures
Help drive the operational cadence of various pilots to evaluate and inform the scaling of new strategic initiatives
Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners, including product, engineering, sales, design, capital markets, finance and legal
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses and deliver insights to different stakeholders across a variety of business issues
Define and drive an insurance account strategy in tandem with broader Philippines based and regional commercial teams to drive synergies
Develop and nurture relationships with Philippines largest insurance companies and our ecosystem partners
Help oversee the insurance related sales pipeline and own the responsibility of ambitious sales targets and pipeline conversion
Liaise, present, negotiate and close deals with insurance providers
Be in charge of providing necessary monthly reports like production, performance and collection reports, etc.
Be in charge in the preparation of proposals/quotations
Lead new innovative initiatives and help devise strategies to grow our business through new activities, campaigns and proposals
Coordinate and work with the internal cross functional team (e.g. marketing, finance, operations, customer service) on campaign execution and support
Get involved in growing our insurtech business and ecosystem more widely

You are an owner you have a proven ability to implement innovations from ideation to execution and scaling, establishing clear directions and objectives in support of business needs
You have a desire to take initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias towards action
Are a results/targets driven, focused personality with at least 3-5 years of experience in a growth role (preferably with Life, Non-Life & HMO insurance)
Have experience in public speaking and presenting information in a business environment
Have financial industry experience in Philippines and digital marketing process - this is preferable but not mandatory
Embrace change and flexible environments
Don't accept the status quo and are comfortable driving change
Have strong interpersonal and social skills comfortable with building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and can successfully navigate complex organizational structures
Strong business intuition with the ability to understand consumer and partner psychology ability to read between the lines of both quantitative and qualitative research
Have written and oral fluency in English
Have Excel and / or Google Sheets proficiency
Are humble and lead by example, set the right context and help teammates do their best work Interest in and intellectual curiosity about personal finance
