PILMICO FOODS CORPORATION, the food and agribusiness subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, is considered as one of the largest flour milling companies in the Philippines. We are primarily engaged in the manufacture of wheat flour and wheat by-products and have been ranked among the top three domestic flour producers in terms of sales.
We import both soft and hard wheat, the primary raw material for our products, from the United States and Canada. All our flour products are fortified with Vitamin A and Iron, and certified with Halal and Sangkap Pinoy seal. Through our Research and Training facilities located in Luzon and Mindanao, we also offer technical services and bakery trainings to meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Job Description
The Instrumentation and Control Engineer is responsible for the alignment and management of Operational Technology (OT) equipment, Information Technology (IT) solutions and Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT) devices. He/She must have a thorough understanding of the operational processes and a strong personality to closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, vendor solutions groups and review / support teams. He/She also needs to ensure strong alignment between Industry 4.0 standard and ICS - Purdue framework.
He/She will be involved in the following activities while ensuring that systems and processes
operate effectively, efficiently and safely:
A. designing and developing new control systems
B. testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems
C. analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
D. working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other
internal staff
E. liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
F. project management within cost and time constrained environments
G. understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and
quality standards
H. providing advice and consultancy support
I. evaluation of equipment
J. writing computer software and test procedures
K. developing new business proposals.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
He/She must have at least exposures or experiences in:
● Advanced Process Control (APC)
● Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
● Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
● Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA)
● Basic IT Network Structure
● Basic Computer Operations
● Basic Backup/Restore and Storage Management
EDUCATION:
● Instrumentation and control engineering, Industrial Instrumentation, Electronics or related
course graduate.
EXPERIENCE
● Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related field
● With knowledge in PLC programming is an advantage
