Job Description
The opportunity
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective digital e-learning courses from various reference materials (PowerPoint Decks, manuals, process documents, etc.). You will be collaborating with business unit POCs, subject-matter experts, and other members of the cross-functional team to deliver high-quality learning materials that are compliant with the requirements and company branding guidelines.

Responsibilities
Individual Responsibilities:
Create e-learning modules with visually-appealing and compelling content using various content authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Ris e 360, etc.)
Work with the clients/points-of-contact/subject matter experts to ensure course feedback and required revisions are tracked and applied on the developed modules
Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's training needs and apply them in the design and development of the modules
Design, write, and integrate assessment questions and create content that matches them
Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional designin the development of e-learning modules
Design self-paced exercises and activities that enhance the learning experience
Create or embed supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, graphics, etc)
Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
Maintain project documentation and course folders
Work with the cross-functional team in ensuring the finished e-Learning materials get uploaded, tested, and configured correctly in the Learning Management Systems

What we are looking for
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in training content development, curriculum development, technical writing, and e-Learning development
Graphic design skills to create engaging content, while ensuring compliance to the company's branding guidelines and design standards
Proficiency in commonly used content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360 Suite, etc.)
Proficiency in asset-building tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Camtasia, etc.
Strong and thorough understanding of traditional design skills including sketching, composition, storyboarding.
Strong and thorough understanding of technological design trends
Strong experience in corporate branding systems
Works as a team player with all levels of management
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management skills.
