Job Description
About the role:
Write scripts for video and audio content as needed.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content as needed.
Analyze, update, and refine existing online content.
Stay current on best practices in instructional design.
Provide quality control on company projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy and on schedule.
Adjusting schedules/timelines and targets on any given project as needed.
Position requirements:
Working knowledge of adult learning methodologies (ADDIE model)
Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
Can use Camtasia andwill be able to build videos
Adobe Animate (preferred but not a requirement)
Must have a Graphic Design background and must be knowledgeable with Adobe Photoshop (or whole Adobe Suite)
Proficient inGoogle Drive and Microsoft Office
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
Critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. (Multi-task is your middle name)
Ability to operate in fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with a small and diverse team
Strong ability to delegate tasks among multiple team members
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
Experience in instructional design and, or adult learning
Experience with Articulate required.
Knowledge of Asana Project Management software preferred
Knowledge of full Google Suite applications
Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial subject matter preferred.
Experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
