Job summary:
The Installation Engineer supervises company installation contracts, prepares reports of daily activities, takes actual measurements, and attends meetings as required by the contractor/client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports for work at the prescribed Installation Department working hours of 8AM to 5PM (Mondays to Saturdays) and depending on the schedule demands per project.
Prepares daily itinerary/Official Business Trips.
Conducts/Assists in doing Actual Measurements (RAM), Request for Mobilization (RFM) and attends to Customers Action Request (CAR), within the prescribed periods of:
RAM & RFM - 72 hours within Metro Manila
CAR - within 72 hours upon receipt
Conducts daily jobsite visits for all his projects to see to it that works are being executed timely, safely and within acceptable quality.
Prepares Daily Project and Safety Report on projects inspected.
Prepares labor awards on projects, assigned to him.
Performs regular quality checks and verify installation related workmanship defeats, prepares reports and recommends remedies to conform with Philmetal Standards.
Attends regularly scheduled jobsite coordination meetings on projects assigned to him and reports matters discussed to his Area Manager.
Prepares weekly Project Accomplishment Report (PAR), releases to subcontractors and payroll of Administrative crews.
Initiates additional work or change order claims, and timely informs Sales Engineers/ Supervisor in writing.
Monitors material inventory, tools, hardware and equipment at site to ensure continuous and uninterrupted works to meet committed schedule.
Immediately reports safety related incidents/injuries on projects assigned to him
Enforces company policies and regulations, and reports any breaches to his Area Manager
Coordinates/follows-up status of Job Orders/Production and the delivery schedules of materials required on his projects.
Assists in preparing Mock-up samples as required by Sales
Assists in conducting Product presentation and other Marketing needs.
Qualification:
Must be Civil Engineer or Architecture graduate with Construction-related experience of one year.
One year in monitoring construction works or roofing installation. Fresh grads are also welcome to apply
