We are looking for an experienced and well organised, punctual, goal oriented internal Sales Secretary and Tele Marketing Assistant to process phone in and walk in sales.
Job Purpose: To get new and serve existing customers by selling products and services. To prepare and Encode Formal Quotation, Assist in carrying out marketing research and initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Internal Sales Secretary will develop, process and serve internal phone in and walk in clients with tasks including but not limited to:
Primarily marketing electrical products of IDEC, Marshal, LS and Schneider Electric Brand Panel boards
Prepare Sales Quote via Software and Encode Sales Quotation in CRM
Learning and Studying product technical specification for effective marketing
Coordinating with the field sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
Ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or marketing material
Assist and Support in the preparation and organising of promotional material or events.
Responding to follow ups from customers and give after-sales support when requested
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and prepare and present reports
Handle the processing of phone in/ walk in orders with accuracy and timeliness
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
Monitor the team's progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
Ensure adherence to laws and policies
Takes incoming customer calls, processes sales, and accepts payment for products and services
Makes outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell products and services
Answers questions about product specifications and pricing
Up-sells customers to larger products, more extensive packages, or higher priced services
Explains product pricing and negotiates bulk or package pricing
Prepares Electronic copy of client database
Accurately and efficiently enters customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes.
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Processes customer payments and troubleshoots any issues that may arise
Maintains a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
Assists sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers
Contacts customers in response to correspondence or feedback
Monitors order status to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely manner
Investigates unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolves customer issues as necessary
Maintains working knowledge of products and services sold and keeps current on industry developments by reading current news or attending workshops
May specialise in inbound or outbound telemarketing or in sales for a particular product and industry

Minimum Qualifications
Sales and marketing experience
Excellent written and oral communications
Internet savvy
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Ability to learn new software quickly
Prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree of business course
Microsoft CRM experience (or other CRM experience)
Electrical industry sales experience
Marketing and/or advertising experience
Familiarity with Adobe products (Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) is a plus
Positions are generally full-time, typical office hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
