Responsibilities
Achieve quota goals and establish strong internal relationships with account managers as well as client relationships with vendor accounts. The Inside Sales Specialist will work directly with account managers for new business opportunities, create proposals, follow up directly with clients on proposals under consideration, respond to client requests for information and/or problem troubleshooting/resolution, and Increase client penetration through expansion of IDC program services within the key accounts.
This is a quota bearing position will entail work both through the phone and face-to-face presentations. It will also entail all attributes of the sales cycle - from prospecting, needs assessment, proposal, and closing, to account management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Sales Bookings
Sales bookings achievement in line with monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Responsible for achieving all personal monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by means of generating and closing new sales and renewal of existing accounts.
Account Management
Establishing a sales pipeline will enable sales targets of existing and new accounts to be met each month.
Establishing an account plan that establishes a high call rate of client contract that achieves a strong pipeline
Current and accurate sales database updating
New account development through the incremental growth of multiple products & services within Existing accounts
Work with Sales/Marketing/Research teams on ad-hoc marketing and sales campaigns to educate clients on IDC's offerings
Support Sales representatives and the SFDC sales tool to develop sales pipeline and forecast reports
Customer Service
Solution based sales with IDC clients
Responsible for ensuring that the customers' needs are understood within IDC through the development of working relationships with clients and prospects
Expansion of contracts in existing IDC client organizations
Collaboration with IDC Asia Pacific Team
Regular engagements with relevant analyst to gain access to client opportunities
Coordination with Asia Pacific IMP on defining and identifying new opportunities
Qualifications
3-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience with proven consultative sales, preferably experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with evidence of prior success in Sales
Understanding of sales fundamentals such as prospecting, needs assessment, proposal development and client presentations.
Ideal to have a background in tech buyer/leader sales or with experience in account management with a marketing & communications agency
Highly creative and capable to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Good experience in working with senior level decision makers. Ability to prospect and manage C-Level and senior IT Executive level relationships within medium and large organizations
Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers and the Senior Executive Level
Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
Language requirements as determined by ASEAN territory needs. Strong command of English language is a must.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Able to adapt to and learn new software and web-based systems.
Bachelor's degree, with strong evidence of success in school, Masters or advanced degree a plus
