This is a remote position.
My Virtual Mate is a registered Australian company that helps businesses with business process outsourcing. Our mission is to make a positive change in our partners' business, which ultimately helps them gain more profits, and grow their business with truly talented staff.
Our client is a US based business solutions company that uses a team based model to consult with businesses and they need an Inside Sales agent to seek new clients, understanding customer needs and making effective sales pitches.
The role will start part-time, and will scale up into a full-time opportunity as the business grows. The ideal hire is someone who can work Pacific time.
Establish viable opportunities by studying existing buyer/client profiles to determine the probability of a lead showing interest in their product of service.
Contact prospective customers through calls or emails to establish the lead's interest
Close sales with qualified leads to generate new business and ensure the client's needs are met
Encourage potential clients to buy premium products and close the best possible deal
Build customer relationships with existing clients by reaching out via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn Chat, Direct Messaging, or other forms of communication to increase the likelihood of them using our services again
Use CRM software to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing customers
Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are met.
Collect referrals and testimonials
Identify opportunities for strategic collaboration and business development in the course of business.
Ability to follow sales script and outline while also conversing naturally with new people
Requirements
Relevant experience in inside sales, business development or similar roles.
3+ year of sales experience converting qualified opportunities in a sales representative position.
Experience in lead generation, particularly through LinkedIn and email, preferably on an integrated platform.
Working knowledge of CRM software and the sales process.
Excellent communication skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills especially include identifying and discussing areas known and understood and those that are not.
