Your Role and Responsibilities
Systems Management Specialists with this specialization perform implementation and administration of products within the category of Web Application Middleware Platforms running on Distributed Systems (Windows, Unix, z/Linux and Linux). This role is to is to performed by technical engineers that have expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance. Individuals in this role apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions and typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.
1) be responsible in installing, configuring, administering & supporting medium to large middleware application using Kubernetes, Docker, Websphere, Apache Tomcat, ECM, Application Server and other middleware/transformation products.
(2) Build and Manage container platform
(3) Plan, prepare & apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to the middleware software,
(4) handle upgrade of IBM power servers, virtualization cluster, and backup as a service.
